We never ask for or store symptoms, history, or any other medical data.
Maia is about perimenopause. By signing up on this page, your email may indirectly reveal an interest in a health-related matter. To be safe, we treat your sign-up as if it included a special category of data (Art. 9 GDPR) and base it on your explicit consent, given when you submit the form.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we never sell or share it.
We process your data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for the possible health inference, your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time (see section 9), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before then.
We work with providers acting as data processors, each under a signed data processing agreement (DPA):
Beyond these providers, we do not share your data with anyone.
Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We do not make international transfers outside the European Economic Area.
We keep your data for as long as the waitlist runs and until we contact you about the launch of Maia; in any case, no more than 24 months from sign-up, after which we delete it. You can unsubscribe and request deletion earlier at any time.
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and withdraw your consent, by writing to hola@bemaia.app. We will respond within the time limits set by law.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), or with your local supervisory authority in the EU.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS) and access to the database is restricted.
This site uses no cookies and no tracking technologies. Fonts are served from our own server.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. We record the consent version in force at the time of your sign-up.
